Biography

Eric brings extensive knowledge and experience and a diverse background into his Feldenkrais practice and the classes and workshops he facilitates.
He believes strongly thatlearning should be both practical, experiential, relevant and lead to a real improvement in thequality of his students lives.
Eric graduated from Fairhaven College in 1995 with BA in Intercultural Conflict Resolution.
Fairhaven College is based on self-directed and self-evaluated education. The foundation of hisstudy was in freeing
After graduating, Eric traveled to Southeast Asia for four months and began practicing Vipassana
Meditation at a 10 day silent retreat in Thailand. In 1996 he studied in England at the London
Buddhist Center. Since 1996 he has attended several silent retreats in a variety of Buddhist
traditions including Zen, Burmese Vipassana, Thai Vipassana and Tibetan Buddhism.
In 1993 attended a class in Improvisational Theater. In 1997 began to teach Improvisational
Theater through the Northwest Freedom University. In 2000 he joined professional
Improvisational Theater Group in Santa Rosa CA. He continues to teach and use exercises
from Improvisational Theater to promote more flexibility and lightness in his students and
himself.
In 1998, Eric founded the company Barcode Re-sourcing, Inc which buys, sell and repairs data
collection terminals from mostly reused and recycled components.
In 2000 he was introduced to Non-violent Communication and attended workshops in the bay
area with the founder of Non Violent Communication, Marshall Rosenburg. As well he attended
regular NVC practice groups.
Eric completed his Feldenkrais Training in 2003.
In 2004 he immersed himself in “A Course in Miracles” study group for 2 years and further
integrated somatic education with the process in which we give meaning to life experiences.
Eric has continued to immerse himself in the study of The Feldenkrais Method, quantum
